The Chat post type allows users to create special gated chatrooms hosted on Awardable to hold exclusive conversations for users that meet specific criteria. The chat leverages standard messaging conventions and can be as public or private as you want it to be.
Whereas other collectible posts like Badges and Points are claimable, Chats are unlocked. When users meet the criteria to access the chatroom, they are presented with an Unlock button. Clicking this and passing the conditions check will open the chatroom and allow them to engage with the rest of the chat participants.
The chatrooms follow common messaging conventions, with messages you post appearing on the right in blue and all other participant's messages appearing on the left in gray. You can reply to specific messages and also react with emojis.
A collapsible sidebar panel displays all of your active chats so you can easily jump between rooms to navigate and engage in multiple conversations.
